Anna Puglisi

Keynote Speaker | Anna Puglisi

RAND Technology and Security Fellow and former Director for Technology and National Security at the White House  

Anna previously served as a Director for Technology and National Security at the National Security Council, a Senior Advisor to the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology, a Senior Fellow at Georgetown University’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET), and the National Counterintelligence Officer for East Asia. Anna has been a part of multiple National Academy of Science efforts including the National Science, Technology and Security Roundtable. She has received numerous awards including the FBI Director’s Award for Excellence.

Anna holds an MPA, an MS in environmental science and a BA in Biology with honors, all from Indiana University. She studied at the Princeton in Beijing Chinese language school and was a visiting scholar in Nankai University’s Department of Economics. She is a co-author of the 2013 study Chinese Industrial Espionage, the first book-length treatment of the topic, as well as countless related proprietary studies. She is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.

Governor Kelly Ayotte

Governor Kelly Ayotte, a Nashua native and lifelong Granite Stater, serves as New Hampshire’s 83rd Governor. A former U.S. Senator and the state’s first female Attorney General, she is a proven leader known for her bipartisan approach and deep commitment to the people of the Granite State.

Jennifer MacDonald, MD

Jennifer MacDonald, MD is a physician executive and Army veteran experienced in leading national coalitions to achieve strategic impact at scale. She currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute, an indusry-driven public private partnership with a mission to advance the U.S. bioeconomy and fundamentally transform the future of human health.

Prior to this role, Dr. MacDonald served at senior levels of the federal government, leading multiple successful transformation efforts and personally driving the national execution of strategic priorities for two federal Departments. She served 11 years in the Minnesota National Guard and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, earning a Bronze Star for high profile mission achievement. Dr. MacDonald enjoys a joyful, active family life with her husband and two children.
